Somatic Therapy & Energy work | Kingston, NY
Where Therapy & Spirituality finally meet.
For Spaceholders, Sensitive Souls, & Creatives ready to break cycles and shift patterns.
This is the space where soul-curious people, "sensitive" folks, & healers rise and return to themselves through sacred attunement, mystical embodiment, and soul rooted truth. Where nervous system healing, energy work, and spiritual depth converge in service to your becoming.

When you can't keep going the way things are.
Every day feels the same. Work, sleep, scroll, repeat, somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like yourself. You look fine on the outside, but inside you’re anxious, disconnected, and quietly wondering or screaming inside: “Is this really all there is?”
You’ve outgrowing this phase of life and you’re not sure what’s left to hold onto. It’s a disorienting place to be. Part of you wants change, the other is terrified to let go.
Maybe You're:
- Holding it together on the outside while falling apart inside — smiling at work, showing up for others, but privately dealing with irritability, resenting the people you love, shutdowns, or physical symptoms you can’t ignore.
- Wrestling with a brutal inner voice — catching yourself spiraling into self-blame or harsh criticism, knowing it’s hurting you but feeling powerless to stop it.
- Losing your sense of who you are or in the wake of major shift — the things you once wanted no longer make sense, and you’re terrified because nothing new feels solid yet. You feel unmoored and unsure who you are, roles you’ve always played aren't fitting.
- Shrinking yourself to keep the peace — saying yes when you’re overwhelmed, hiding your real feelings, or disappearing emotionally in relationships you care about.
- Spiritually off-course — disconnected from the part of you that used to believe, create, or feel guided by something bigger. You wonder, "where is my center?"
- Burned out in your body and spirit — exhausted but unable to rest, buzzing at night, waking anxious, or feeling like your system is stuck in overdrive.
You’ve tried to keep it together, but something in you knows this isn’t sustainable. This isn’t just stress, it’s
your soul asking for more. You don’t need another tool or training. You need
a place to land, to breathe, and to come home to yourself.
You want to feel connected, to your body, your magic, your sense of aliveness, but instead, you feel numb, shut down, or stuck on autopilot, unsure how to get back to yourself.
You’re the one people come to for wisdom, care, or healing, but privately, you feel frayed, untethered, and quietly falling apart, afraid to admit how much it’s costing you.
You crave spaces that go beyond surface talk, but everything you’ve tried has felt too polished, too clinical, or too constrained to hold your full truth, your grief, or your spiritual weird & WOO.
You’ve done everything “right” followed the playbook, but nothing touches the deeper ache underneath it all, and you’re starting to wonder if it ever will.
You’ve tried to figure yourself out, podcasts, journaling, all the tools, but you still feel lost, like you’re falling behind, falling apart, or faking it more than anyone knows.

You’re not broken.
You’re on the edge of remembering. And you don’t need another fix, you need a space that sees all of you.
This isn’t failure. It’s the threshold. And it’s time to stop fixing and start remembering yourself.

Meet Your Guide
Hi, I’m Cris Maria Fort Garcés
A LatinX psychotherapist, somatic alchemist, and cosmic mirror for the parts of you that remember what this world tried to make you forget.
I firmly believe that healing is less about becoming someone new and more about stripping back the noise until you hear your own soul clearly again. I started Creative Now Therapy & beyond because I couldn’t find a space that held both the sacred and the messy, both spirit and the nervous system, or the mystical and the clinically sound, so I built it.
After nearly 20 years in the clinical world, and a lifetime listening to the deeper, spiritual layers of human experience, I’ve become a guide for those moving through the liminal: the unraveling, the identity shifts, the moments when nothing old fits but nothing new feels formed.
Even as a kid watching Sailor Moon, I sensed we’re all carrying a kind of hidden magic, waiting for the right moment to awaken.

Something real is trying to emerge. You haven’t failed, you’ve simply outgrown the old containers.
You’re ready to be met in the liminal space, where healing isn’t just intellectual, it’s embodied.
This is where integration stops being another task, and becomes the sacred act of being witnessed in the right kind of space: somatic, soul-rooted, and real. It's a return to yourself as a felt, grounded, and living truth.
This is the space where you stop performing, slow down, and finally hear what’s been whispering beneath the noise.
When You Come Home to Yourself:
- You finally feel calm in your body.
The tension eases. You’re sleeping through the night again, breathing deeper, and trusting that peace doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong.
- You stop walking on eggshells in relationships.
You say what you mean, let your boundaries hold, and notice the relief of not performing or people-pleasing to stay connected.
- You understand what your body’s been trying to tell you.
The panic, numbness, or tightness make sense now, they’re signals, not flaws, and you know how to respond instead of react.
- You rest without guilt.
You don’t need to earn stillness. You can turn off your phone, say no, and actually feel your body exhale.u’re not sure where to turn without being asked to choose between your mysticism and your messiness.
- You feel connected, to yourself, others, and something larger.
You trust your intuition again. Life feels more alive, more meaningful, and you sense your spirit coming back online.
Healing That’s Mystical, Grounded, and Fully Embodied.
How I Work
I use a grounded, intuitive process that brings together evidence-based somatic therapy and the kind of inner work that feels a little bit like remembering something ancient.
We Slow Down and Notice What’s Real
We pay attention to what’s happening in your body, breath, and language right now, the places where your patterns live.
- This helps you feel steadier, clearer, and less overwhelmed.
We Go Beneath the Surface
Through sensation, imagery, movement, and (if you want) tarot, astrology, or energy practices, we access the deeper layers of your experience.
- This helps you feel instead of overthink, and reconnect to your own inner guidance.
We Unravel the Shame Story
Together, we notice the harsh inner voice, how it shapes your body, and what it’s been protecting.
- This helps you soften old beliefs and relate to yourself with more compassion and truth.
We Anchor the Shift in the Body
We mark moments of change, resting without guilt, saying no, feeling joy again, and root them somatically so they stick.
- This helps you move through your life with more presence, trust, and emotional bandwidth.
In essence:
I help you access the wisdom of your body and the intelligence of your intuition, so you can live from a place that feels grounded, aligned, and fully your own.

What clients say...
When I first met Cris, I was at a moment in my life where I was unsure of every possible direction. All of my decisions were based on fear and a recent change in my health had me wondering what kind of life I would have and holy crap I'm going to die. Being in front of Cris's intellect, warmth and grace literally gave me strength I didn't know was there and the assurance of my ability to navigate conflict with grace and evenness. A truly gifted guide and stellar human being.
- Grey
Cris has been integral to my growth. She is incredibly kind, understanding, and supportive, while also challenging me to face things I may have been ignoring/dismissing. I’m really grateful to have been able to work with her.
- Autumn
Cris is a wonderful therapist. As a pediatrician, I was prone to over-thinking. She has helped me to work through my thoughts and to be in tune with my body.

When Insight Isn’t Enough, and Your Soul Is Asking for More.
You’ve done the therapy. You’ve journaled, reflected, and processed. You’ve studied healing, helped others heal, held space, and held so much. You’ve become emotionally aware, maybe even spiritually open, but despite all of it, something still feels disconnected.
You don’t need more insight. You need a place where your nervous system can exhale, where your identity isn’t split between personal, cultural, and spiritual parts of you, where grief doesn’t have to be named to be honored, where you don’t have to shrink—or explain—to be seen.
