Somatic Therapist & Nervous System Healing | Kingston, NY & Surrounding Areas
Clinically trained. Mystically tuned. Deeply Human.
Too mystical for your therapist, too tender for your astrologer?
You need a space where your weirdness and your wounds can finally hold hands. Welcome in. This is Depth Work for Spiritual Beings.
You didn’t become wise by accident, but even the strongest inner knowing can get shaken when life stops making sense.
And your body and emotions are sounding an alarm you can’t ignore.
Your emotions are louder, your body is overstimulated or shut down, and you’re exhausted from pretending you’re fine. Maybe you’re snapping at people you love, withdrawing from your partner, zoning out at work, or lying awake with a mind that won’t stop. You’re terrified by how fast things are shifting, and even more terrified to admit how bad it’s gotten.
Beneath it all, you’re asking: “What is happening to me?”
The things that used to motivate you don’t work anymore.
You can’t rest, you can’t focus, and you can’t keep holding everything together.
You’re scared you’re losing yourself… or that you’re becoming someone you don’t recognize. And you know that if something doesn’t change soon,
something important in your life might break before you do.

I’ve lived the burnout, too.
For years, I shaped myself around what others expected, running on Ritalin, praise, and a quiet desperation to outrun the discomfort of my anxiety. I was the achiever, the helper, and the rockstar. But underneath the performance was a body full of grief and a spirit begging to be met.
It wasn’t until I stopped running from my pain and started listening to it that something shifted.
We don’t shift by ascending, we shift by returning. To the body. To the truth.
To the field of consciousness that’s been pulsing through us the whole time.
Now I hold space for others to come home to that same field. To soften their grip. To tune into the resonance of their own truth.
This isn’t about fixing, it’s about remembering.
And it’s real, raw, sacred work.
You Don’t Need to Hold It All Together Anymore.
When things begin to shift, you feel it in your body first:
You start sleeping through the night. You notice you’re not calling yourself an asshole 4,000 times a day. You catch a cruel thought before it spirals and decide to work it through instead of letting it take over. You feel how tired you actually are and let yourself say no. You stop forcing yourself to show up for everything. You start breathing again, noticing that your body feels less braced and more like a place you can return to.
And your life starts changing in ways that finally feel real.
You reach out to friends for support, and actually let yourself receive it. You tell people the truth about what you’ve been carrying. You stop overfunctioning in your relationships and start setting boundaries that hold. You feel less afraid to question your career or major life choices. You make decisions with clarity instead of panic.
And slowly, you feel yourself coming back, more grounded, more honest, more connected to the life you actually want to build.

Meet Your Guide
Hi, I’m Cris Maria Fort Garcés
Clinically trained. Somatically grounded. Mystically informed.
I’m a Latinx licensed psychotherapist and somatic practitioner with nearly two decades of experience across clinical, creative, intuitive, and ancestral healing spaces. I’ve worked in inpatient psychiatry, led group practices, studied ritual and somatic depth work, and supported hundreds of clients, including soulful professionals, healers, and highly sensitive adults.
I blend science, spirit, and lived experience.
As a first-generation kid of immigrants, I learned early how to hold complexity, the analytical and the intuitive, the grounded and the mystical. That way of seeing the world shapes the way I practice: weaving somatic psychotherapy with intuitive tools and earth-based wisdom for people who want something deeper than coping , something that honors both their nervous system and their soul.
This space is different, and intentionally so.
Most therapists won’t pull a tarot card or notice the symbolic meaning behind a shift in your body. Most spiritual coaches won’t understand attachment wounds or how trauma shapes your nervous system. I hold both with care. In my space, your grief, magic, lineage, sensitivity, and shadow all have room to breathe. My work is helping people reclaim their intuition, trust their inner knowing, and return to themselves with clarity and depth.
Systems that don’t honor the soul will always ask you to abandon yourself.
I don’t separate the psyche from the soul.
Whether we’re working therapeutically or in a coaching container, I combine somatics with intuition, symbolism, imagery, and the quiet intelligence of the body. You won’t just talk about what’s wrong , you’ll feel into the deeper layers of what’s trying to move, shift, or emerge.
I hold space for the parts of you that have been ignored or misunderstood.
Not the polished version of you, but the sensitive, overwhelmed, exhausted parts that carry the real story. We work gently but directly, tracking your body’s signals, unraveling old patterns, and making space for emotions you’ve never been allowed to have. You don’t have to perform here; you get to be honest.
I guide you toward integration, not improvement.
This work isn’t about fixing you; it’s about
coming home to yourself. Through
somatic awareness,
intuitive tools,
creative exploration, and grounded conversation, you learn to
trust your inner world again. The goal is simple: you move through life with
more clarity,
more presence,
more connection, and
more soul.

Rooted in Science. Shaped by Soul.
You deserve support that honors both your depth and your humanity.
With nearly two decades in clinical, somatic, and spiritual work, I know how to hold the moments when your emotions spike, your body shuts down, or your life stops making sense. I’ve guided hundreds of clients through unraveling, identity shifts, and spiritual transitions, the same thresholds you’re moving through now.
I understand these turning points because I’ve lived them too.
I’ve walked through burnout, collapse, and the pressure to stay small. I know what it feels like when the life you built stops fitting and you’re terrified of what comes next. That lived experience helps me meet your system with accuracy, compassion, and zero judgment.
I’m here to help you reconnect with what’s true: body, mind, and spirit.
I bring the grounding of somatics and the insight of intuitive practice, so you can explore your inner world
without fear of being misunderstood. In this space, nothing about you is “too much.” My work is simple:
helping you come home to yourself, clear, steady, and connected to something real.
This work is sacred, and it’s not for everyone.
Who this work is for
- You’re a deep-feeling human who’s tired of shrinking, you sense more than you can explain and want a space that welcomes your nuance, soul, and spirituality.
- You’ve done a lot of deep inner work, but you’re craving integration, something that weaves together the emotional, the somatic, and the spiritual.
- You’re spiritually curious and open: drawn to ritual, tarot, astrology, ancestral wisdom, or energy work, even if you don’t yet have the language for it.
- You’re a helper, healer, soulful professional, or caregiver who’s always holding space for others but longs to be fully held yourself.
- You’re moving through burnout, grief, or a threshold moment of change, and you want support that honors your shadows as much as your light.
This work is for those who are done splitting themselves in two. The grief and the glitter. The sacred and the shadow. The healer who hides their rage, the artist who longs for ritual, the caregiver who needs holding.
Here, you don’t have to translate your tenderness or tone down your mysticism. You get to unravel, integrate, and remember. This is a space where the ache becomes invitation and your wholeness has room to breathe.
This work might not be the right fit if…
- You struggle to honor boundaries around time, communication, or payment and find those limits frustrating.
- You’re looking for someone to be on-call emotionally, quickly help fix you, or to tell you what to do/give you advice, rather than a guide who helps you access your own knowing.
- You’re not open to blending the clinical with the mystical: somatic work with intuitive, creative, or spiritual tools.
- You often feel stuck in cycles of blame, resentment, or victimhood and aren’t quite ready to explore your role in patterns: ie. you feel triggered by shared reflections and pushes towards self-responsibility.
- You prefer to do a lot of talking or stay in the rational and intellectual realm, and avoid emotional, creative, or body-based experiences in session.
- You need crisis-level support or urgent intervention due to ongoing intense emotional emergencies, rather than a spacious, integrative process.
This work is relational, deep, and intentional. It’s spacious but also boundaried, I walk with you, but I don’t carry you. If you’re excited by that kind of partnership, we’ll likely be a great fit.
And if you discover you need something different, that’s okay too. There are many beautiful forms of support out there, and I’m always glad to offer referrals to help you find the right space for where you are right now.
