Somatic Therapist & Nervous System Healing | Kingston, NY & Surrounding Areas

Build a Self You Can Trust, Emotionally, Energetically, and Practically.

Somatic Therapy and Energy Coaching for Sensitive, Spiritual, and Soulful Women & Queer Adults.

You’re here because whatever used to ‘work’ isn’t working anymore.

Maybe you’re the one who always holds everything together, but lately you can’t feel anything except exhaustion. Maybe your body is shutting down, buzzing with panic, or refusing to keep pushing in the ways it used to. Maybe you’ve built a life that looks good on paper but feels hollow, confusing, or painfully off-track. Maybe you’re in the middle of a transition you didn’t choose. Or the one you did choose feels nothing like the freedom you hoped for.

You might be waking up tired, already behind, already hating the way your thoughts spiral. You might be snapping at people you care about, canceling plans, or lying awake replaying everything you said that day. You might be drifting through a relationship you’ve outgrown, or terrified to claim a truth you’ve known for a long time.

And the “so what” is becoming harder to ignore.

Your relationships are straining. Your work feels flat. Your body feels like too much or not enough.
Your intuition is louder, and you can’t shove it down anymore. You’re overwhelmed by how quickly you feel everything could fall apart if you finally allow yourself to stop.

Then one day, or one night, something cracks. Not in a dramatic way. In a quiet, private way. You sit on the floor of your bedroom or in the car outside work and whisper: I can’t keep doing this. Something has to change.

That moment is often what brings people to me.

I’ve lived the burnout, too.

For years, I shaped myself around what others expected, running on Ritalin, praise, and a quiet desperation to outrun the discomfort of my anxiety. I was the achiever, the helper, and the rockstar. But underneath the performance was a body full of grief and a spirit begging to be met.

It wasn’t until I stopped running from my pain and started listening to it that something shifted.
We don’t shift by ascending, we shift by returning. To the body. To the truth.  To the field of consciousness that’s been pulsing through us the whole time.

Now I hold space for others to come home to that same field. To soften their grip. To tune into the resonance of their own truth.
This isn’t about fixing, it’s about remembering.

And it’s real, raw, sacred work.

What Becomes Possible Here:

I don’t promise quick fixes or spiritual bypass. This work is deep, embodied, and rooted in reality.

You start sleeping through the night. You notice you’re not calling yourself an asshole 4,000 times a day. You catch a cruel thought before it spirals and decide to work it through instead of letting it take over. You feel how tired you actually are and let yourself say no.  You stop forcing yourself to show up for everything. You start breathing again, noticing that your body feels less braced and more like a place you can return to.

As you move through this process, you may begin to:

•  Feel more at home in your body instead of tense, tight, or bracing all the time.

•  Stop looping in your head and finally feel calmer and more present.

•  Say what you need and set boundaries without spiraling into guilt or fear.

•  Make choices from a grounded place instead of reacting from panic, pressure, or confusion.

•  Move through big life changes with more confidence, clarity, and a sense that you can handle what’s coming.

And you find yourself saying: ‘Oh. I’m okay. I’m actually okay.'

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Cris Maria Fort Garcés

Clinically Trained. Mystically Tuned. Deeply Human

I’m a Latinx licensed psychotherapist and somatic practitioner with nearly two decades of experience across clinical, creative, intuitive healing spaces. I’ve worked on inpatient units, led group practices, studied ritual work, and supported hundreds of clients,  including soulful professionals, healers, and highly sensitive adults.

I blend science, spirit, and lived experience.

As a first-generation kid of immigrants, I learned early how to hold complexity,  the analytical and the intuitive with the mystical. That way of seeing the world shapes the way I practice: weaving somatics with intuitive tools and earth-based wisdom for people who want something deeper than coping , something that honors both their nervous system and their soul.

This space is different, and intentionally so.

Most therapists won’t pull a tarot card or notice the symbolic meaning behind a shift. Most spiritual coaches won’t understand attachment wounds or how trauma shapes your nervous system. I hold both with care. In my space, your grief, magic, lineage, sensitivity, and shadow all have room. My work is helping people reclaim their intuition, trust their knowing, and return to themselves with clarity.

This work is not clinical for me; it’s sacred.
It’s where psychology, the body, and the soul meet.

Systems that don’t honor the soul will always ask you to abandon yourself.

I don’t separate the psyche from the soul.

Whether we’re working therapeutically or in a coaching container, I combine somatics with intuition, symbolism, spiritual practices, and the quiet intelligence of the body. We also make space for the subtler layers, the energetic, archetypal, and confusing shifts that often accompany deep change. You won’t just talk about what’s wrong; you’ll feel into the deeper layers of what’s trying to move, speak, or emerge.

I hold space for the parts of you that have been ignored or misunderstood.

Not the polished version of you, but the sensitive, overwhelmed, exhausted parts that carry the real story. We work gently but directly, tracking your body’s signals, unraveling old patterns, and the symbolic themes that show up in your inner world. You don’t have to perform here; you get to be honest, and wholly you, including your spiritual self.

I guide you toward integration, not improvement.

Over time, your days start to feel different in ways you can actually notice. You catch yourself before spiraling, speak to yourself with less cruelty, and stop pushing through exhaustion just because you “should.” You show up to conversations without disappearing, decisions feel less like emergencies, and you start trusting your inner world in meaningful ways that add up. Bit by bit, you feel like someone you can come home to: body, heart, and spirit.

This work is sacred, and it’s not for everyone.

Who this work is for

  • You’re a deep-feeling human who’s tired of shrinking, you sense more than you can explain and want a space that welcomes your nuance, soul, and spirituality.

  • You’ve done a lot of deep inner work, but you’re craving integration, something that weaves together the emotional, the somatic, and the spiritual.

  • You’re spiritually curious and open: drawn to ritual, tarot, astrology, ancestral wisdom, or energy work, even if you don’t yet have the language for it.

  • You’re a helper, healer, soulful professional, or caregiver who’s always holding space for others but longs to be fully held yourself.

  • You’re moving through burnout, grief, or a threshold moment of change, and you want support that honors your shadows as much as your light.

This work is for those who are done splitting themselves in two. The grief and the glitter. The sacred and the shadow. The healer who hides their rage, the artist who longs for ritual, the caregiver who needs holding.

Here, you don’t have to translate your tenderness or tone down your mysticism. You get to unravel, integrate, and remember. This is a space where the ache becomes invitation and your wholeness has room to breathe.

This work might not be the right fit if…

  • You struggle to honor boundaries
around time, communication, payment, or session structure,  and find those limits frustrating rather than supportive.

  • You want someone to be emotionally on-call
or to tell you what to do, fix you quickly, or give direct advice instead of helping you access your own inner knowing.

  • You’re not open to blending the clinical with the mystical
and don’t want to work with somatics, intuition, creativity, or spiritual tools.

  • You feel stuck in blame or resentment
and aren’t yet ready to explore your part in patterns or to receive reflective, self-responsibility-oriented feedback.

  • You prefer to stay in talking and rational analysis only
and avoid emotional, creative, or body-based work in session.

  • You need crisis-level intervention
or ongoing emergency support rather than a spacious, integrative process.

What I offer is relational, deep, and intentional. It’s spacious and boundaried. I walk with you, but I don’t carry you. If that kind of partnership feels right in your body, we’re likely a strong fit.

And if you realize you need something different, that’s okay.
There are many beautiful forms of support, and I’m always happy to help you find the space that matches where you are right now.

Rooted in Science. Shaped by Soul.

You deserve support that honors both your depth and your humanity.

I’m here to help you reconnect with what’s true: body, mind, and spirit.
